A Mad Game is a band born in 2007 and its sound is an original mix of rock, funky, metal and grunge genres. From 2008 A Mad Game has been playing consistently around Italy, taking part in several festival like “Days Shocking Ground Fest”, on the side of Last Day Here and Nightrage, the“Reload Music Festival” and like “Santo Rock Fest”, with Misfits and Extrema. At the end of 2009 the quartet puts out their first self-producted album “Stand Up” ,played around Italy and as special guest in Pino Scotto’s live show, at Takabanda in Varazze. According to some people, this first work is Influenced by bands as different as Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Living Colour and combines melody, strength, refinements and a great energy, producing a deep live impact. The final metamorphosis gets out in 2010, with Zampatti’ lead guitar which brings an hard rock style to the band. From this moment on, the collaboration with “Nadir Music” begins, and A Mad Game is now recording their second e.p., of which the two singles have been already launched on web.

La band nasce a Genova nel 2007, e fonde in sé in maniera completamente nuova e alternativa suoni differenti come rock, funky, metal e grunge. Dal 2008 il gruppo si esibisce in tutta Italia partecipando ad eventi come il “Days Shocking Ground" di Terni, al fianco dei Last Day Here e Nightrage, il “Reload Music Festival” di Ferrara e il “Santo Rock Fest”, con i Misfits ed gli Extrema. Alla fine del 2009 la band entra in studio per iniziare la registrazione di “Stand Up”, il loro primo album, promosso in vari live fra cui l’apertura della data genovese del tour del rocker Pino Scotto, al Takabanda di Varazze. A detta di molti, questo primo lavoro è la combinazione pura di influenze diverse e apparentemente inconciliabili come i Rage Against the Machine, i Living Colors, e i Pearl Jam, ed è evidente l’energia originale che ne scaturisce e l’impatto profondo che suscita all’ascolto. Ma la metamorfosi del gruppo non è ancora completa ed è con l’ingresso della chitarra solista di Zampatti nel 2010 che si aggiunge un’impronta metal e hard rock alla band. A questo punto inizia la collaborazione con la “Nadir Music”, che li porta ad esibirsi in giro per l’Italia, mentre nel frattempo è già in corso la lavorazione del loro secondo album, i cui singoli “Hurt” e “Romeo” sono già stati lanciati in rete.
