General Stratocuster were born in Florence, Italy, after an everlasting jam on Fabio Fabbri's birthday.

Though everyone of them has been in the record business for years (Jack is the singer of NWOBHM's Legend Tygers Of Pan Tang, Fabio a well know session man, Alessandro is the drummer of one of the most talented Italian band, Banda Bardò while Richard is a living legend being the bass player and singer of several iconic progressive bands such as Campo di Marte, Sensation Fix and Sheriff) they all agreed in forming a new band: GENERAL STRATOCUSTER.

Their debut album was recorded over last year and it's the best selection of songs they have been written together with the inclusion of Creedence's hit 'Fortunate Son'.
