Over Dead in Over began their history in April 2004 in Ancona thanks to Luca Giacchetti (guitar), Alessio Corinaldesi (bass Guitar) and Piero Senigalliesi (guitar), all of them coming from the local band Methempsychosis. The aim was to create a new project which took the inspiration from melodic Swedish death metal, Slayer’s extremism and Death’s technical abilities. The new entries Stefano Mencarelli (Vocals) and Marco Barbarossa (Drums) allowed to realize this project. Over Dead in Over were officially born. In February 2005, after few months of live concerts and songwriting, ODIO produced and recorded their first demo called “My Almightiness my weakness” (including their more representative songs Shadow, I Savour, Uneven Struggle and The Essence I Need).
